Monet

I spent 6 hours doing this and in the final viewing I realized it looks terrible because the lettering is all blurry. It's 12:25am and I can't fix it now. This class is teaching me to just let go of perfection. I can learn and do better next time. This is a hard lesson for me to shallow. I'd like to just start over and scrap it.

  1. This is one of the most powerful Giverny slideshows I've watched so far--I think because it synthesizes what you know about Monet with what you experienced in Giverny and because it grounds that synthesis in powerful conceptual representations.

My only suggestion for the future is that you think about a way to end this powerfully so that it doesn't just fade away. For example, what would happen if you added just one more slide that asks a question which invites the viewer to reflect on how these concepts connect to their own life in some way. For example, "What matters to you?" or "What shapes your vision?" or "What shapes your perspective on the world?" or "How does what you value change what it is possible for YOU to see?"

Nonetheless, your work demonstrates your ability to construct complex representations consisting of a conceptual core, images, text, music, etc. BEAUTIFUL job!
